Earlier this month Roush announced their new 2013 Mustang lineup including the Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 Mustangs. The new models feature revised styling based on the changes to the 2013 Mustang including Roush’s 6th generation body kit with a new front and rear end design, hood scoop and updated graphics. The flagship Stage 3 Mustang also gets even more powerful with 565 horsepower and 505 lb-ft torque thanks to an upgraded supercharger system, making it the most powerful Mustang to ever come from the company.
Roush says that the new 2013 Stage 3 Mustang is set to hit dealerships in late April, but we already got our first peek of the car at the Fabulous Fords at Knotts show in Southern California this past weekend. This is the first time we’ve heard of the car being shown publicly, so it was a debut of sorts for Roush’s latest offering. A convertible model with the optional light bar, the 2013 RS3 on display was dressed in black paint with silver and red graphics and was fully loaded with add-ons like the 20-inch wheels, black shifter ball, hood struts and Roush-badged coil covers.
